Job Description:
The Clinic Nurse takes direction from a physician and will perform day-to-day job duties.
This requires meeting with clients, consulting with other physicians, completing reports and other consultation with other professionals in the office, and general office management.
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Coordinating all activities regarding required nursing duties and responsibilities in a clinic setting.
Assisting the physician during medication clinics.
Monitoring client progress and problems between medication clinics and reporting relevant findings to the physician.
Counsel clients on importance of following medication regimen and observe client's response to medication.
Complete reports, records, logs, and other required data as required for client records.
Attending administrative and clinical staff meetings.
Receiving clinical supervision.
Participating in consultation and education activities.
Qualifications:
Ability to take direction from physician.
Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations within the registration staff at all rural health clinics.
Qualifications / Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Attention to detail Excellent time management skills Strong decision-making skills Ability to work under pressure Critical and creative thinking skills Highly motivated Ability to work well without supervision Education and Experience Requirements:
LPN or MA License in Mississippi.
